   Çeşme Beaches

You will have a lot of joy on beaches stretching over the 29-km Çeşme shoreline. Çeşme is sucha perfect host that it embraces you with its clean sea all the time, unprecedented soft sandy beaches and sun bath that is not over whelming at all. What do you want to do? Getting refreshed in a peaceful sea and then lie on the warm beach quietly orvisit the islands on a yacht? To dive and discover richness in the deep sea or dance in the wind on your surf board? You can even just dream of it... Çeşme is suitable as if it arranged its beach as a good alternative for you. Here are some of the outstanding beaches;

Ilıca: It is the biggest and most popular touristic venue in Çeşme with its wide and white sand beaches of nearly 2 km, high-quality accommodation facilities and thermal places. Hot thermal waterspringing out of the sea makes Ilıca beach and other surrounding beaches a large thermal pool. Big and small accommodation facilities in Ilıca can meet needs of an intensive tourist flow. The leading aspect of Ilıca is its thermal opportunities that increase its importance. Even many small-scale hotels and pensions provide hot spring water. Another significant feature of Çeşme beaches and Ilıca beach, in particular, is that a line of approximately one hundred meters in the sea is at a lower level than a human being's height. It is scientifically known that ultraviolet rays in shallow water, especially in waterfed by thermal springs, are good for health. Also these beaches are very suitable for children in terms that there are many facilities and secure circumstances for them.

Boyalık Cove: It is around 5 kwing places in Çeşme. At the point where Kalem Point meets with the land in middle lands of the cove, Altın Yunus Holiday Village and Marina, which were among the biggest and the most modern accommodation facilities in Turkey during the years they were built, exist. All natural beauties are available in this holiday village. The most quiet and peaceful beach on this cove is Sakin Deniz (Ayayorgi) Beach, which is sheltered from northern winds. Beach club, restaurants and colorful facilities on its shoe make it a quiet and recreative place.

Şifne - Büyük Liman (Big Port) - Paşa Limanı: The shoreline extending in the northeast up to Şifne is a fascinating place with nice beaches and hot springs, primarily Ilıca Beach. Many touristic facilities, camping areas and mass summer houses are located on Büyük Liman (The Big Port) and Paşa Limanı coves. Şifne is famous for thermal resources with many clean and well-designed pensions. It is located 5 km further from the center of Ilıca. You can go there by taking buses at llıca.

Ildırı: Ildırı and its surrounding, where Ancient Erythria City is located, is an interesting environment for those who are interested in camping thanks to its natural beaches and camping areas. It is 22 km further from the center of Çeşme, and 15 km from Ilıca. You can go to this place with historical and natural beauties taking a gravel road after passing Şifne.

Dalyan and Sakızlı Cove: These touristic places that are on the northern shores of Çeşme Peninsula is a neighborhood where typical fisherman houses and district, and a port as well as beaches and local people reflect natural beauties of the Aegean style life. It is 4 km further from the center of Çeşme. There are many high-quality hotels, beach clubs and pensions awaiting for you in Dalyan.

Çiftlikköy, Pırlanta and Altınkum Beach: This beach is in the south and southwest of Çeşme. The leading beaches in this neighborhood are Pırlanta, Tursite and Altınkum Beaches. Hotels and pensions of top quality can be found here, too. Also there are suitable places for camping.

Çatalazmak Beach: You can reach Çatalazmak Beach, one of the speetacular beaches in Çeşme.

Eşek Adası: Known as "GONİ" in the past, Eşek Adası is half an hour further from Çeşme on yacht. It is also ideal with clean coves and hospitable donkeys for daily yachttours. Also its coves sheltered against northern winds due to its geographical location are suitable for water and underwater sports. Almost entirely covered with the Mediterranean plant maki, the island has a well of drinking water that work on wind energy for donkeys to survive. When you visit there especially in the spring time, you will smell extremely charming scent of flowers like wild daffodil, brooms and thyme. The island is used completely for touristic reasons. Overnight accommodation is not allowed because it is a National Park. Black island, found almost every single corner of the island, as well as the Blue Cove, resembling a natural aquarium, will be a fascinating place of cali for you.
