Fener Island: This island deepening to maximum 15 to 18 meters is an ideal spot for divers liking current dives. If you are lucky, you can even encounter the seals, the permanent visitors of the island. There are two diving spots around the island. Due to the bottom structure which is not so deep at both diving spots, these spots are generally used for second dives. The dives to the 18 meters deep will enchant you with its multicolored bottom structure. The vicinity of the island accommodates all types of sponges and corals and small flock fish such as bream, boops salpa will accompany you as you dive. On some occasions, the seals can be observed on the island and there are some former seal caves in the island.

Yatak Island: The depth goes down up to 40 meters in this island and it is famous for the magnificent underwater cavern located at approximately 8-10 meters depth. This island is generally preferred for the final diving activity of the day. The two caverns located to the west of the island are extreme ly suitable for photographers shooting macro and broad angle photographs with the carousal of colors formed by the entrance of the caves and the sponges within the caverns. when you enter the cave with a broad angle lens and face outwards, the turquoise colored blue in front of the darkness will fascinate you.

Eşek Island: Although there are numerous other diving spots around the island, the split rock spot is considered the most beautiful location of the island. The depth reaches down to 50 - 60 meters. Particularly the eastern wall starting at around 20 meters and reaching to 40 meters is a place every diver will live to see.

Ildırı Bay: The cavern reef in this region, which was a forbidden zone until last year is the most significant and beautiful diving spot. At the westem side of the shallow zone, there is awall extending from South to North for almost 70 meters. The depth of this wall, with upper part around 8 meters to the surface reaches down to 35 meters from 12 meters. There are three interconnected caverns around 21 meter depth an done of these caverns has an exit spot at approximately 12 meters, just in the middle of shallowzone.

WINDSURF

You will not want to be at another place for surfing after you visit Alaçatı. Alaçatı is the most amazing surfing center amongst the surfing zones of Europe, offering great diversity. With its untouched fauna and flora, the surfing center stands within the V-shaped small bay with its crystalline like waters. Alaçatı is one of the most significant surfing centers of Europe with the diversity of winds and an ideal surfing area. The wind blows from North in this region with extremely shallow waters.
The force of the blowing wind from June up to mid September varies 4-6 on average and thereafter, from October to the April, the wind becomes 50 % Southern wind and generates fine waves. Alaçatı resembles a region specifically created for the windsurfers. The most significant feature of Alaçatı is that the wind blows from left, which is to say as a breeze and formation of uniform winds, even under the high wind. The stream also flows in the direction of the wind, offering the windsurfer's insatiate moments. Alaçatı is the most reliable area amongst other places having etesian winds without a shadow of doubt. Here, four separate winds caress the Çeşme Peninsula protruding into the Aegean Sea. It is another beauty that the Etesian, Southvvestern, Northeastern and Gerence winds visiting the region throughout the year.

KITESURFING AT PIRLANTA (BRILLANT) BEACH

The Pırlanta Beach at Çiftlikköy has nominated Çeşme to become the "wind capital of Europe" with the everlasting high and stable wind and waves.
Located at the farthest western corner of Çeşme, Pırlanta Beach attained its name with its brilliantly shining sand. As the coastal shore lies shallowfor 250 meters into the sea and covered only with brilliant sand, the beach allures surfers from all over the world to the region.
In 1980's, hundreds of caravans park at the beach and the surfers encamp in their caravans only to stage the beach with the dance of hundreds of windsurfers at the sea with their multicolored sails resembling butterflies in the wind. In 2000s, the beach had become the new center for Kite surfing and Kite surfers, the new extreme sports of the new millennium. Attracting many windsurfers due to its similarities with the windsurfing, Kite surfing promoted Pırlanta Beach to become one of the most significant centers of the world for this sport. Furthermore, kite surfing promotes the Tourism of Çeşme with 13 foreign tour operators from April to November and endeavors for prolongation of the season.
Kite surfing also complements manyother ertreme sports activities. Kite surfing has become the next generation of windsurfing... As the interest if the new generation on windsurfing diminishes rapidly and as windsurfing had become a sportive activity for middle aged, kite surfing boomed throughout the world and become the extreme sports with highest trend. Moreover, individuals engaged with snowboard, skateboard, wakeboard and rollerblade activities also started to perform kite surfing, due to usage of board atthis sport. The surf facility "Kitesurfbeach" on Pırlanta Beach is also a school granting certificates on behalf of International Kite Surf Organization (IKO) in Turkey and serves to kite surfers only with certified instructors. 2005 Turkey Kite surfing Championship, 2005 World Water and Air Championship and 2006 Turkey Kite Surf Freestyle and Turkey Windsurf Freestyle Championships were organized and held on this beach.

HUNTING

There is also a huge number of partridges and rabbits in the town. The latter two can be hunted mostly between September-December. Winter time also provides many opportunities for hunters in Çeşme.
